The Ewah Eleri Mentorship Program

On the 12th of march 2022 at the Hamzat Lawal Symposium held in Abuja, Mr. Hamzat Lawal, known as an activist, campaigner and mobiliser, announced a new initiative called the Ewah Eleri leadership academy.

The leadership academy is a mentorship program named after Mr. Ewah Otu Eleri who is the executive director of ICEED and specializes in economic and policy issues.

He has over the past 25 years been consulting for the World Bank, European Union, USAID, DFID, the Governments of Canada, Norway, United States and the Federal Government of Nigeria, and is also a mentor to Mr.hamzat lawal.

Applications will be open to the general public on 23rd of May 2022 and one of the criteria’s of the program is to have a permanent voters card (PVC).

According to Hamzat Lawal the mentees don’t only need to be smart and capable Nigerians but also be willing, able and committed to changing Nigeria, he continued saying that if there was a time to care about changing the country it is now and he wants to work closely with people of like minds.

Mentees will be opportune to join Ewah in his hometown of Afikpo, Ebonyi state to learn from him.
